Macro Fry’s is the stronger version of Fry’s reagent specifically formulated for macro-etching carbon steel and mild steel components. It is commonly employed in forensic examinations of firearms by police departments. This product is made with reagent-grade chemicals using a formula from ASTM standard E340 Table 5 for macro-etching.
